So, as many of you know, things have been very hectic lately, between having an office placed in the dining room for the last few months and getting ready for our son's 1st birthday, things have been a little crazy around here. Well, my office is finally done but I am still working on getting organized and my little man had his first birthday party!!! Branson turned 1!!! Can you believe it? I know I can't. A year just goes by way too fast, and he has grown and learned so much in his first year, I could not be prouder. I was so excited for his cake pictures and well, take a look, he first just looked at the frosting on his hands......................

then got sooooooo upset!

So, we stopped and figured, it was just everyone watching?!?!?! We decided to save the cake and try again the next day, and here is what happened...............

Another upset little man, he just did not like the frosting everywhere!

He has been such a good model over the past year, and I think he had his breaking point:) And he does like cake, just not all over him! LOL!

A few weeks ago I photographed one of my really good friends and her fiance for their engagement photos! We had such a blast with beautiful weather until we went to this river location, the mosquitos were awful!!!! They were such good sports and to sit their while they were being eaten alive......... Thankfully we all survived, but with a few battle wounds, lol. I had a great time Kim and Jason and a big CONGRATS! Can't wait to be a part of your special day this October! Oh, and Jason, I decided to show everyone a lot of your kissing photos;)

Intimate/Boudoir photography. This is a type of portraiture that I get asked to do often! It is not something that I currently advertise but I am considering a package option this coming fall. In my mind, these photos can be anything you desire, including a headshot. I think the biggest thing is showing off one's true beauty. These photos may be for yourself or even a gift to a loved one for a birthday, anniversary, Christmas or even Valentines day. Meet Jen, isn't she gorgeous!!! She was so much fun to work with and I wish I could show them all, but we need to keep some a surprise.

I just LOVE newborns! Every time I photograph a newborn, it makes me realize how important it is to cherish these little moments, from the cute little grunts, curls of the toes and fingers, to the simple sound of them breathing while they are deep asleep. J and J were such wonders to work with. I cannot believe they were born a little over 5lbs. each and it just makes me realize how important it is to have these first year photos taken. My son, is already going to be a year, and he was the same size when he was born and sadly I barely remember, but thankfully I have the photos to look back on. Can't wait to work with you again in about 6 months. I am so excited to watch them grow with my baby plan. Take a look at these beautiful newborn twins, double the fun!

Just thought I would show you what I have been working on and the reason for the slack in my blogging, sorry, I know, I promise a few more weeks and I will be better with it:) So, we all know my little man will be turning 1 in a couple of weeks! YEAH! Because of this our house is torn apart and I am going crazy trying to get things ready for his party. I am just too excited and the house and everything else has to be perfect, well in my mind. So, here is the sample of his birthday invitations I created. It is a 5x5 trifold card that I do offer.
